David Renouf, LCMHC Clinical Mental Health Counselor

David Renouf retired from the Green House Group, PA, as of December 31, 2020. David worked with the Green House Group since 2007, and counseled adults and couples in New Hampshire for almost 30 years. His practice addressed a wide variety of problems, ranging from current life stressors to the after-effects of childhood family dysfunction and abuse. He specialized in hypnosis and treating anxiety. His approach combined psychodynamic and cognitive therapy techniques that emphasized support for each person's strengths, and taught specific skills that helped people manage problems such as insomnia, pain, obsessive thoughts, and panic.
David also supervised colleagues and published articles about clinical hypnosis in professional journals. He has also been the president of the New Hampshire Mental Health Counselors' Association, and remains on their Board of Directors. David was a beloved and valued clinician in our practice and in our community. We wish him well in his retirement.
